I don’t know why I have never roasted green beans. They are super yummy and super easy to make!
Here is what you will need:
- Trimmed and wash green beans.
- Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon Juice
- Spritzing Oil
Step 1: Wash and trim the green beans. Then chop the garlic.
Step 2: Combine in a bowl and toss with oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Spread in a glass baking dish.
Step 4: Roast at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until crispy. (About 20 minutes).
Serve immediately!
While the green beans were cooking I made a spicy mayo dipping sauce! It helped add both fat and flavor to the meal.
Sauce Ingredients:
- Mayonnaise
- Lemon Juice
- Salt
- Pepper
- Tabasco
To make the sauce I Combined about 2 tablespoons of mayo, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and a few dashes of Tabasco. I used the salt and pepper to taste.
I served the roasted green beans and spicy mayo with wild caught salmon pan fried in avocado oil. So yummy and full of healthy fats!
