Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching which means it’s time to get your gifts in order. Nothing screams love more than a homemade gift from a little one! Once a year we try to incorporate handprints because it’s always crazy to see how much bigger they are the next year. These flamingos are one of my favorite Valentine’s Day decorations and they were so simple to make!
Here is what you will need:
- 1 Canvas (we used a 16″ x 20″)
- Acrylic Paint (red, pink, purple, orange)
- 1 Paint Brush
- Little Hands
Step 1: Paint the hands pink and press onto the canvas.
Step 2: Once the hands dry, paint on the necks (pink) , the legs (orange), the beak (orange) and dot 2 black eyes.
Step 3: Decorate the boarder. We used finger prints in alternating colors. But you could do polka dots, hearts, or whatever else you can dream up!
And that’s it! So fast and fun to make!
