I remember when Kory first made this “secret family recipe” cottage cheese dip. I thought he was nuts. In no way did I think mayonnaise, cottage cheese, and green onions sounded like a tasty combination. Boy was I wrong. Not only is it tasty, it’s addicting! I like to think it’s healthy because it has both veggies (green onions) and calcium (cottage cheese). 😉
If you are looking for a potluck side dish, weekend snack, or a new holiday staple… look no further!
To make this Cottage Cheese Dip you will need:
- Large Container (1 lb 8 oz) Large Curd Cottage Cheese
- 1.25 Cups Mayonaise
- 3 Bundles of Green Onions
- Garlic Salt (or regular salt)
- Pepper

Step 1: Pour the cottage cheese into a large bowl. Thinly chop the green onions and mix into the cottage cheese.

Step 2: Add the 1.25 Cups of Mayonaise and mix well.

Step 3: Add the garlic salt and pepper. Mix well. I used about 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. My suggestion is to start there, taste, and add to your preference.

That’s it! 3 easy steps! This Dip should only be served with Fritos. If you are looking to cut calories, it is pretty good with fresh carrot chips.
